Dry at last, Leeshaw Reservoir

                                    Several Herring gulls

                                    Around 150 small gulls

                                    2 Cormorant present

                                    Single Wren

                                    10 Meadow Pipits

A dry morning at last with patches of sunshine through the cloud on a cool NE>2 at 4 degrees.
Nothing untoward at Leeshaw this morning with a good count of gulls being the highlight but nice to get a dry day for once.
Around 150 small gulls along with 18 Herring and just 4 LBB were present, but otherwise the water remained quiet, holding 2 Cormorant and 3 pair of Mallard plus 17 Canadas and a single Greylag.
Several small passerines in the muddy field with 10 Meadow Pipits, 4 Reed Bunting, 2 continental looking Robins along with a Wren, whilst the sky remained empty apart from 14 Lapwing >E.
Promising to be a good morning tomorrow with full sun on a light NW at a crisp 0 degrees. That'll do.
