A wet and muddy Ogden

                                    Just a single Tufted showing

                                        10 Teal counted
                                    Weeds rapidly disappearing underwater
                                    Teal and Mallard

                                    6 Bullfinch present.

A terrible morning at Ogden with a moderate SW>4 and a mix of heavy and light rain throughout with very dark clouds at 11 degrees.
Partial shelter from the weather under the trees but too dark to pick much out and a very sloppy, muddy track which meant the dogs to bath when I got home.
The shoreline weeds are rapidly heading underwater now and will probably be mostly gone by the weekend. Just 10 Teal counted along with a single Tufted and the usual Mallard, whilst 3 LBB and 2 Herring were on the water as well as a handful of small gulls.
The waterside trees were near void of birds with the wind and rain blowing the tops about, but 6 Bullfinch were feeding around the west bank Alders. Up to 20 Chaffinch were present but very flighty.
Another dark, wet ,cloudy day tomorrow on a moderate southerly starting a 12 degrees.
