With torrential rain early morn plus very dark until 0900 hrs it was a no go for this early birder and the planned trip to Harold Park and Park Dam had to be abandoned. I was hoping for another check at those sites before the weekday rush hour early morning traffic makes it impracticable to drive there.
Football matches on both pitches in Foxhill park late morning inviting a good count of 35 Common gulls on the churned up pitches late afternoon.
Another wet morning promised for tomorrow on a light WSW turning NW. Roll on spring.
