A double helping of Fly Flatts.

Stoodley Pike under a black cloud
Precipitation cloud coming with BS on it.
                                                Digging in the rain
                                         RAF trainer over the moor.

Reasonable conditions at Fly Flatts with the morning starting off at 3 degrees and 100% cloud cover on a moderate SW>4 then clearing to 50% cloud cover and blue skies by the end of the watch.
Late afternoon had plenty blue sky still on a SW>4 but some heavy black clouds moving over from the SW with a few showers but the worst of it just to the south of me.
Despite good skies for Pinkies nothing happened other than a move of Herring gull by the end of the afternoon watch.
A single Buzzard was mobbed and turned away by two BH gulls way over the moor whilst 3 Raven and 2 Carrion Crow were over the quarry. The only passerine all day was a Pied Wagtail near one of my feeding areas whilst the 2 Crows had cleared another area. No matter where I place seed the crafty Crows always find it.
Absolutely dead in the afternoon other than 31 Herring gull over heading >NW which is an unusual direction for this species up here.
It can only get better.
