Fly Flatts a.m.

                                   Herring gulls moving >NE
                                           1 of 4 Stonechat present

0700 hrs at Fly Flatts in minus 2 degrees plus an icy cold NNW>5 chill factor. The road to Fly Flatts was treacherous with black ice and a heavy frost was on the moor.  Clear blue skies with no cloud cover and sunshine worsened the situation.
As expected in the clear sky there was very slight movement
other than a steady flow of Herring gulls through >NE plus 43 Starling >NW so I think we can safely say that another autumn vis mig season has come to an end.
Nothing on the water this morning , the highlight being 4 hardy Stonechats braving the wind but very mobile.

1 Peregrine
2 Raven
1 Kestrel
1 Buzzard
2pr Stonechat
9 Herring gull..............>NE
43 Starling.....................>NW
5 BH gull
17 Lapwing.
