A vanishing light visit to Fly Flatts

First light over Black Dyke Mills
              A very short lived sunrise.
                                   Last light at Fly Flatts
A touch of brightness way out to the west , probably
                                 over the sea.
1550 hrs , who put the lights out.

                                                  End of another day.

A bright start to the day with a good sunrise which gave way to cloud and rain by 0930 hrs which continued on and off through out the day.
Arrived at Fly Flatts at 1530 hrs in already fading light but dry and a bright band of sky way out to the west , possibly over the coast line.
Just time to walk on the west bank to the NW corner and back which provided 2 Canada geese, 1pr Tufted and 17 Mallard all on the water whilst just a Kestrel was in the air.
By the time I got back to the car darkness had fallen, roll on December 21st to the shortest day.
Another quiet day vis mig wise with no text reports other than 120 Pinkies over Barden from Skipton Gordon.
