Raggalds Flood, midday.

After a rushed dinner and dog walk it was off to check the Raggalds Flood in fine conditions with a WSW > 6 blowing.
The water was well up and through into the next field so hopefully with a few showers it will stay this way a while.
No waterfowl present on the water with just 7 Black Headed and 2 Common gulls on the shoreline whilst 2 seperate flocks of around 30 each of Starlings were in and out of the surrounding fields feeding.
A little group of 5 Fieldfare did a couple of circuits of the water and nearly landed in the flood field but decided against it in the wind eventually heading off >S after flying very low overhead.
Nice to find Bradshaw John and Sue at the flood giving it a coat of looking at.
Somethings bound to turn up here over the next few days.
