Well done to DJS and JL for getting out there today to check Ogden and Mixenden on just the sort of day when anything can pass through or drop in on the water. Gannet and Kittiwake spring to mind.
I text NK and told him it was his turn to check Soil Hill today, unfortunately his reply cannot be repeated on a public blog.
Foxhill at lunch time held 27 Common gulls all squat down facing the wind whilst 5 Redwing flew from the trees to nearby gardens.
Raggalds flood should be up to the wall tops by now but too short a dinner break today to check it.
Hold on to your hats.
