A typical Monday morning with clear blue skies and no sign of fog or rain, think I,ll start working Sunday and have Monday off.
The day did deteriorate somewhat with the strong westerly wind increasing by midday to WSW > 6
bringing light rain by late afternoon.
Very little sky movement this morning with just a scattering of Woodpigeons >S early on and 2 late Meadow Pipits in the same direction.
Nothing doing up Foxhill at lunch time so a quick dash to the top of the Dailie fields to check to the east over the Aire Valley.
A few LBB gulls were heading >N up the valley along with several small squadrons of Starlings on the move in their usual direction of >NW.
Present in the area were 11 Blackbirds in the old allotments, probably continentals, as well as a good number of Fieldfare moving around the fields off Station Road.
