Prepare for the Thrush invasion

A report from HC, Oxenhope this morning of good numbers of Redwing around during his vis mig watch and with the north wind now turned NE then veering E tomorrow it should hopefully pile in the winter thrushes in heavy numbers.
Very little over the garage this morning but two groups of 6 and 4 Redwings headed >NW over the rugby field at lunch time. Also present on the rugby field was a charm of 16 Goldfinch feeding on weed tops .
Foxhill park was poor at lunch time as the fog rolled in but several Robins and Blackbirds were around the edges in the shrubs.
Another day of LBBs moving >S early morning, again very high and soaring slowly.
At least 3 Pipestrelle bats were over the park this evening at last light.
