Another Woodpigeon morn.

                                     A perfect morning for Woodpigs
                                            Here they come

                                         Some over very high
White crow pics for John Creber and Christine.
   Mixenden Crow taken last year.

A bright golden sunrise morning inviting Woodpigeons to move again and so they did with about 800 sighted to and at work from first light until around 0930hrs when the clouds closed in and the cold north westerly increased to NW>5 .
The Woodies came from different directions , some low and some very high and all headed slightly >ESE instead of the usual >S.
A good flock of Fieldfares came over >S just after midday but these were re locating birds.
Amazingly the Common Scoter is still on Mixenden reservoir so unless anything happens meantime I,ll be snapping it tomorrow p.m., thanks for updates on its whereabouts from DJS, NK.
