Vis Miggers nightmare, FOG !!

On the way to work this morning
Dinner time, Foxhill park, clearing slightly, heavy rain
                                     Falling leaves
                                           Common gulls in the gloom

The dreaded fog hung over Queensbury most of the day clearing slightly mid day to mid afternoon during heavy rain but then came back in until dark when the WSW picked up to near gale force clearing the sky.
Needless to say , no skyward reports , just a scattering of Common and Black Headed gulls in the park at lunch time.
The Starling masses from yesterday were not showing themselves today so either in another area or moved on.
A text from HC at Oxenhope this morning confirmed that he was in the same conditions.
