Rain, Rainbows and Redwings, Oxenhope

                                   Sheltering from the wind

Oxenhope--  1530-1730hrs  Blustery NE>5-6  Heavy showers , short outbreaks of sun.

Again perfect conditions although it didnt seem it on windy corner with water dripping off my nose end.
Redwings were moving through throughout along with a few Fieldfare all >NE with a count of 460 Redwing and 38 Fieldfare in 2 hours.
Around 50 Redwing were down in the wood along with a single Jay and several noisy Wrens.
A Wigeon was flushed from the water as I climbed the banking, heading off >N, and a single Whooper swan was picked up whilst scoping across the valley heading >N up the Aire Valley.
Gulls were piling in from 1630hrs with 75% BHG, 20% LBBs and 5% Commons.
8 female Goosander were on the water along with 2 Mallard and here endeth another weekend.
