More fog ont ill top, Queensbury

Yet another day of dense fog up here at Queensbury with about 30 minutes clear mid a.m. and about the same amount of time p.m. when the rain came but this was short lived and the fog rolled back in with even the heavy rain unable to shift it.
The wind has now shifted to S>3.
A reliable source in the village reported to me today of a large flock of Thrush size birds dropping into the mature trees in his garden after dark last night. He said definately not Starlings and smaller than pigeons ? , anybody had any local Redwings yet.
Hopefully this fog will shift shortly and I can get something less boring on the blog, readers numbers are falling rapidly and if this goes on there,ll only be me left reading it.
Hang on in there, it can only get better.
PS, Just received a text from AC via DJS, Halifax grapevine of Pink Footed Geese contact calls over Northowram this evening so possibly the next clear day could be good for movers.
