Queensbury, Influx of Starlings

                                  Invasion of Starlings, midday

                                             Foxhill Common gull
                                       Foxhill this evening.

Another cloudy cool day with the easterly wind still blowing, and still little sign of vis mig.
Starlings were the birds of the day day with around 200 at lunch time on the house tops and telegraph poles  but as I returned from dog walking all had gone.
Foxhill park midday held 11 Common gulls, 5 Black Headed gulls and 2 Pied Wagtails whilst 3 Mistle Thrush went over >W.
