Raggalds Flood and Garden stuff

9  Lapwing on the flood tonight

                                           Garden Goldfinches, through glass

Hope these youngsters watch for cats.

A day of sunshine and showers with a strong W>5-6 decreasing late afternoon.

The Raggalds flood is now just a mud patch slowly drying up but still inviting with 9 Lapwing present this evening along with 4m Pied Wagtails, 1 Woodpigeon and several corvids whilst a Sparrowhawk flew quickly overhead >E helped on with the wind.
Lynda reported 2 unsuccessful attempts by the local Sparrowhawk today and the cat which took white wings hanging around. Will have to do some alterations this weekend removing some undergrowth so the cat can,t hide under it and fit a Sparrowhawk shield.
