Ogden Area.

The site of NKs strange warbler sp.
                                     Several Tree Pipits around Ogden

Ogden area, 1500-1800hrs. Hot and sunny, slight E>3. Heavy going in the heat.

Started off in the area of NKs strange warbler sighting from yesterday but nothing showing although sitting near the water for 30 mins produced 9 species coming down to bathe.
A disappointment to find no Stonechat in the previous years area although there is a poor harvest of fern so far.
After doing the whole of Ogden I came away with very little and still no Garden Warb or Blackcap.
The water held 1 LBB gull and a few Mallard.

5 Tree Pipit
6 Willow Warblers
1 Chiffchaff
1 Whitethroat
3 Reed Bunting
Sev Linnets
15 House Martins over the white house
Plenty Swifts and Swallows
+ usual sp.

Raggalds flood, now a big puddle
3 Mallard
3 Pied Wagtail
2 Lapwing
Swallows
