Queensbury today

Return of the Redshank to Raggalds flood

Blue tits by the garage busy feeding young

Another day of sunshine and showers with periods of heavy rain late p.m. which is just what the Raggalds flood needs right now to stop the mud drying up.
Dispersion of gulls is becoming more apparent each day with several LBBs over >W today and up to 15 BHGs on playing fields by the Thornton recreation centre this tea time. No I had,nt gone training, Id gone next door to pick one of the dogs up from having its haircut.
A quick lunch time visit to the flood today found the Redshank present after a short absence along with 4 Lapwing and a Pied Wagtail.
The 2 Blue Tits are in and out of the nest box by the garage now busy feeding young.
