Queensbury this a.m. saw Meadow Pipits piling over >S showing the biggest movement so far this year. The birds were coming over in 2 banks, with some flocks coming over low and others very high above them. This continued until about 0900hrs when the fog dropped blanking the sky for a time but when it cleared the Mipits were still moving over. This heavy movement faded out around 1100hrs. Djs was also getting the same on Ringby Top.
Otherwise no more news apart from NK re locating the Yellow Browed Warbler for its 3rd day since discovery at Ogden. The bird today was calling well whilst on Saturday and Sunday it remained silent all the time we were watching it and its now been found in 4 different locations, whos to say we dont have 2 birds, now theres a thought?
