Oats Royd - dip no.2

Heron coming in to land

                                      Plenty singing Chaffinch.

Arrived at Oats Royd late afternoon just at the same time as the rain. Clouds and mist were coming across from the west bringing heavy drizzle then rain.  Just to keep up with the run of events today Oats Royd was ultra quiet other than the normal resident birds with no sight or sound of summer visitors.
Luckily its back to work tomorrow to avoid further disappointment.
Hopefully things will have improved by Sunday.
Message from David at Yeadon reporting 2 Gt Crested Grebes on the Tarn there, wonder if they,re our Ogden birds, thanks for that Dave.

1 Heron
2 Moorhen
3 Canada geese
1 Greylag goose
1 White Goose.
+ usual Chaffs, Greenies and Robins.
