Another Red Kite for Queensbury.

A report at work today from a reliable source of  a Red Kite over Queensbury last Thursday, 6th, early afternoon soaring high over Highfield Terrace allotments then drifting off towards the Church tower.
Hopefully this is a bird that will be giving more sightings in the near future.

The Ogden Red Kite from May this year.  BS

Otherwise a quiet day with all resident birds busy feeding young.
Gulls are becoming more noticeable now with LBB moving round daily.
All eyes are on the Raggalds flood at the moment to see what effect the farmer and his JCB have had on the water situation.
