A foggy Christmas Eve

Heavy rain and fog put the mockers on an early birding session this morning and with things to do no late afternoon session. Just a dog walk around Foxhill producing a good count of 38 Common gulls in the park. This winter group usually builds up to around 80 birds over the winter. Blue and Great Tits are on the garden feeders along with a few House Sparrows and a single Dunnock which is as good as it usually gets up here on the tops.
Hopefully I should be back in action in the morning as with Lynda not being able to eat anything, after her op, other than her normal blended baby food, as she calls it, and me coming out in sympathy with her , we tend to treat it as just another day  other than the opening of presents bit and seeing family Christmas Eve.
That just leaves me to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and many thanks to all my blog watchers, info senders, back up team and anyone else involved in my birding circle. I,ll try not to disturb you tomorrow with a text unless a Christmas Day mega turns up.
                                                    All the best, Brian.
