Ogden, Nowt but gulls.

                                       Lesser Black Backed
                               A few Common gulls returning
                                                    Ad LBB
                LBB, autumn/winter head speckles showing.

One hour at Ogden late afternoon failed to produce the goods today with plenty gulls but very little else. Around 120 Black Headed were spread along the east and west shoreline along with 18 LBBs and 5 Commons. Still awaiting the Med and Caspian gull.
The Chaffinch flock is beginning to materialize with around 15 birds in the passerine alley area dropping down to feed on the weeds on the banking as they do each year. Hopefully the flock will increase and be joined by Bramblings later in the year.
Otherwise it was down to the usual Mallards, 8 Canadas, a couple of Robins and a Jay.
