Soil Hill, evening visit

                                         A haze over Oxenhope
Down the tree line to the NK pond
Mallard disturbed from its pond

                                 Curlew over the Shay
                                   Plenty Meadow Pipits about

                                                Several charms of Goldfinch
This juv made me look twice when I saw its bill.
                                            Linnet

After another full afternoon gardening, this retirement job is not all its cracked up to be, it was up to Soil Hill at 1800 hrs on a mild but hazy evening.
Nothing of special interest but enough to keep me alert throughout with lots of Meadow Pipits, Linnets, Goldfinch and Skylarks along with 3 very skulky Whitethroats.
Very little in the sky with just a few LBB gulls and passing Lapwings. Swifts were everywhere.
