Oxenhope Reservoir ( Members only) Windy Corner. 1530 - 1645 hrs. Murky low cloud SE>4 vis poor.
Very quiet around the water with most of the waders moved on now leaving just Redshank, Lapwing and Curlew along the limited shoreline whilst Canadas, Greylags and Mallards , all with young , were on the water.
Skies were full of Swifts and Swallows
140+ LBB gull
5 Herring gull
3 Redshank
4 Curlew
11 Lapwing
+ usual sp.
Ogden 18.45- 1930 hrs. Brightened up from earlier.
An evening dog walk at Ogden turned out to be nothing other than that with very little about.
The water held about a dozen Mallard and surprisingly NKs drake Goosander from earlier in the week. The bird was diving constantly and seemed quite settled.
A check on passerine alley only produced a couple of Willow Warblers due to the lateness of the hour.
Hope this fog doesnt creep in for morning.
