Soil Hill double dip

                   Mallard on the entrance pond
      Plenty Meadow Pipits about

                                  Up to 9 Skylark
                  Kestrels harrassing the Mipits
This is what the Mallard thought of me dipping

A 0700hrs check of Soil Hill before work with little time but enough to check the mounds and new plantation area for yesterdays Ring Ouzels but no joy.
A re run at 1330hrs before Leeds came up with the same results.
Interesting to watch a pair of Kestrels with the female skimming the ground bringing up the Mipits and Larks and the male above trying to nab them in the air.
The NK pond held 2 Canadas and a single Moorhen.

My first Swallows today with one over Mountain Press, Queensbury and one over Pudsey by pass on the way to Leeds, me that is, not the Swallow.
4 Pipestrelle bats over the trees in Foxhill this evening at last light.
