And it could fly faster than the small camera can focus
but shows wing markings.
Two Redshank back on the Raggalds Flood.
A quick check of the water at Ogden found 6 Canadas plus a single female Teal which was,nt as flighty as they usually are although it kept flying out into the middle before drifting its way back towards the shore.
Due to the heavy drizzle and wind it was pointless looking for passerines so up the dreaded Soil Hill on Ouzel search.
On top of the hill it was awesome with torrential horizontal rain and low cloud but once you,re soaked you can,t get any wetter so carried on checking the fields around the trig point as well as the excavations area and the new plantation but other than Skylarks, Mipits , Lapwings and 2 Curlews nothing else showed.
Raggalds Flood played a brighter note with 2 Redshank present and not seeming to bother about the weather so at least I finished on a high.
Target birds tomorrow, Common Sandpiper, House Martin, Sand Martin, I,m a man easily pleased.
