Wind I can put up with, rain I don,t mind, fogs a no no. Double abandonment.

With dense fog throughout the day I had to settle for 2 long and wet dog walks with a bit of shopping in between and a day without Fly Flatts. A dreaded east wind again tomorrow so that could mean more fog. Today could have been a good watch up there with the NE>4 and heavy rain but fog put the stoppers on it. An e mail from the site manager to me today gave the conditions at Fly Flatts as ' GRIM'.
I,ve put together a list of species seen at Fly Flatts so far in 2020, now that we are half way through the year. The number is down due to 5 weeks missing with  lock down and the clear hot weather in May which slows the job down.
