A dark and grey Ogden
Cloud base at the treetops'
With any attempts of vis mig at Fly Flatts dashed due to thick fog it was down to Ogden in an attempt to get below the cloud base.
0700 hrs and the fog was thick so I could barely see the water but this lifted to the tree tops so at least I could check it out. A SW>3 was blowing which rain later turning to drizzle and an increase in wind to >SW 4 helping to lift the fog.
The trees around the perimeter of the water were lively with Goldcrests, Chaffinch, 2 Willow Warblers and around 20 Blackbirds, probably continentals but nothing unusual on the water
58 Canadas
20+ Blackbirds
23 Chaffinch
2 Willow Warblers
7 Goldcrest
