The Northowram hedge was alive  late afternoon with all 3 species of Sparrow as well as Chaffinch, Blue and Gt Tits, Blackbirds and Redwing.
A Nuthatch was a nice surprise but only landed in the hedge briefly before heading lower down towards Shibden.
Around 30 mobile Redwing were in the field by the hedge but did,nt hang around, whilst several LBB gulls headed >E.
The Shelf Moor fields were void of any kind of bird life and even the juncus field which is now thawed and boggy held no Snipe.
