Shelf Moor

Nice female Pied Wagtail showing summer plumage
                                           mottled back

                                             Wheatear on the move

                     Hiding behind a Buttercup
This one,s brought its own groundsheet

With very limited spare time today, 30 mins, it was a quick dash down to the trailer park field to check the situation.
The field held 3m and 2f Wheatear along with 2f and 4m Pied Wagtail. A drake Mallard was in the far corner surrounded by about a dozen Meadow Pipits.
A Curlew was calling over the Green Lane area but not visible whilst 4 LBB gulls flew over >NW.
The Juncus field was deserted apart from a m Pied Wagtail and a single Wren.
A few Swallows were dodging about over the area.
