Harp Lane

Foxhill school weather vane showing a SWesterly

                                      Carrion Crow lounging around
                                  Looking down Harp Lane
Plenty Fox scents to sniff at .
                                     Undergrowth thickening up

An evening dog walk down Harp Lane was as much as time allowed today with a busy garage after the holidays and a final follow up trip to Leeds before being transferred back to Bradford.
Harp Lane held the usual Chaffinch, Goldfinch and Greenfinch along with Dunnock, Wren and Robin.
A Willow Warbler was singing near the bottom of the track and a Little Owl was calling from the fields but keeping out of sight.
A Green Woodpecker could be heard across in the old station.
A report today from HC of 4 swifts high over Oxenhope and nice to meet blog watcher Tony Thompson
who called in the garage for directions around Soil Hill.
Hope you were lucky Tony although going by NKs report it was a quiet up there today.
