A good top up for the flood.

Water and ducks back on the flood

A mixture of Starling and House Sparrows looking
for food for their young on the new mown pitch, Foxhill
Sunshine on Listers Mill from Foxhill

A real horror of a day with strong winds and lashing rain but good to hear that 3 local dedicated birders were out on watch. ideal conditions for moving Terns but no reports so far.
Thanks to John and Nigel for informing me of water on the Raggalds Flood and a quick dinner time and early evening check combined found :-
2 Drake Mallard
2 Pied Wagtail
3f Wheatear
1m Reed Bunting
4 Woodpigeons
3 Swallows.
Good do that cattle are present again which tend to mud up the ground  around the edges of the water.
A report yesterday of a Snipe on the Foxhill top football pitch at 0730 hrs.
