Queensbury today

Another bright but breezy start to the day but overcome by cloud, a cold westerly and rain by mid afternoon .  No chance for any birding today but a couple of good reports early morning with a Buzzard > E over Deanstones Lane around 0900hrs and 2 Woodcock on the Gulf at Oats Royd, thanks to the 2 customers concerned for the info.
Hopefully, anytime now the Raggalds Flood will be holding Redshank and Oystercatcher as well as drop ins by passing Ringed and Little Ringed Plovers and the Shelf Moor trailer field will see Wheatear moving through. Well you,ve got to be optimistic if you,re a Queensbury birder.

Previous visitors to the flood, Redshank and Dunlin.
