Nice weather but no birding for Bri.

A misty start to the day Chapel Lane
Black Dyke appearing through the mist

    Early morning Starlings

A much dismissed bird though smart looking and intelligent

                              A good mimicker

A cloudy, hazy morning breaking into a bright and clear day with blue skies and sunshine.
The plan was to make the first visit of the year to Oxenhope reservoir late afternoon but with a million things to do that had been neglected in the week birding had to take a dive but come the morning I,ll be out giving it some stick.
Good report from DJS today of a Gt Crested Grebe on Fly Flatts, a real rarety for up there.
