Flying Snow Bunting, oops, wrong setting!
Linnet
This Skylark should look where its going.
Soil Hill 1500-1630 hrs Sunny with cool NE>4
A quick glimpse on NKs Snow Bunting as I arrived when it flew past with a Linnet flock but in my haste to grab the camera out of the bag I spun the settings dial so ended up with a blur. After trudging the hill for another hour I never re located either that or the Linnets. Three Linnets kept flying around but the main flock with the Bunt went into hiding.
After a thorough scan of walls and buildings no Wheatear could be found and nothing skyward through the coll.
