Plenty Wheatears moving through
Dead Calm conditions, bad for movers
A nice grey sky was showing as I approached Fly Flatts but on arrival the wind was dead calm with thousands of midgies attracting birds to feed as opposed to moving. Some movement was apparent with waves of Meadow Pipits to the west of me over the moor but without the wind very few show interest, a call from NK, Soil Hill and DCB Oxenhope also confirmed this.
