Another blustery day with near gale force winds and some real torrential downpours. The shoreline at Fly Flatts and most of our reservoirs will be well and truly submerged by now I should imagine with more rain forecast into the weekend.
Plenty gulls have been over the village and in the park today and with NKs possible Med gull report you,d better start checking those flocks. The way Nigel described his bird at Ogden today sounded pretty conclusive and as I always say, an experienced birder would,nt have looked twice, never mind rang me if he was,nt sure. See Queensburybirder for full report including some other goodies, well done to Nigel for getting out there, lousy for man but just the sort of weather that turns up the goods.
