Fly Flatts, Swifts on the move.

Fly Flatts Watchpoint
Rain clouds coming in
Mipits trickling through

Fly Flatts  0800-1000hrs  Broken cloud, some sun then showers later. W>3 turning NW>5 .

A steady movement of Meadow Pipits early doors doing whats knows as hopping through.This is coming through in small groups of 3 and 4 and stopping off momentarily before moving on a bit further, unlike the powering through that will take place later in the month.
Swifts were piling through into the wind using the lee of the Nab for shelter and Swallows headed south.
Scoping the east bank of the reservoir provided an ad. Greenshank, 1 Redshank and a single Oystercatcher.
Several Canadas were up in the Withens Gap fields looking like fresh in birds?
