NOTE !!
No sightings of Roe Deer, Fox, Hare or Badger will be mentioned on this blog throughout the year and links will be removed from other blogs giving the whereabouts of these mammals due to the rising influx of poaching, long dogging and lamping by sick individuals.

Around the outskirts

Sunset over the Arc from Wilsden
My usual shopping delivery mercy dash to Heaton tonight produced :-
12 Lapwing over Soil Hill.......................>E
3 Grey Partridge,  5 LBBs >N    , Well Heads
1 Curlew , 4 Lapwing, 7 LBBs over Wilsden, all heading for TMR
2 Pied Wagtails, 3 Mistle Thrush, 1 Song Thrush, Flower Hill, Heaton

On the return journey 2 waders about the size of Ringed Plovers flew high and very fast over Soil Hill, >E.

I was awoke this a.m. at 0300hrs by a very noisy Little Owl which sounded to be in Foxhill Park, an usual record for this area !
