Not the best start to March. Ogden

                                       Nuthatch on the feeders
Little Owl enjoying a sunny spell

A free afternoon today with Ollie so off to Ogden to see if anything nice had dropped into the water to start March off but it never happened. Unusual to see a Moorhen down in the feeding corner briefly before it flew up to the NE corner whilst a Cormorant was on the depth float. Otherwise it was down to 6 Canadas plus a Nuthatch on the feeders + the usual sp.
Just 3 Herring gull >W in the sky.
In nearby fields a flock of around 40 Starling and 20 Fieldfare were feeding whilst a Little Owl remained motionless on a dry stone wall.
The car park trees held plenty Goldfinch and Chaffinch but no sign of Brambling.
