Leeshaw/Fly Flatts.

              Greylags returned to Leeshaw
                                             Along with Canadas

                         Cormorant in full breeding plumage
                                     His mate seems impressed
          Had these down as Pinkies till they got closer,
                                          Greylags


 The white Greylags were bred at Oxenhope res last year

                                         2 distant Curlews, Leeshaw







A planned morning at Fly Flatts was aborted with thick fog at 0730 hrs so on to Leeshaw which at last as livened up with the return of the geese. 98 Greylags were carefully sifted through in hopes of White Fronted but not to be.  2 noisy Curlew were moving around the fields but no Goldies back at Upper Marsh as yet.
Over the tops past Fly Flatts on the way home where the fog had cleared and another 3 Curlew present but little else.
