I,ve birded Soil Hill this week Sunday, Monday Tuesday Wednesday 1500-1600 hrs per session amounting to 4 hrs watching and the hill has produced , either on the hill or seen from the hill :-
394 Pink Footed Geese
c200 Lapwing
c300 Starling
10 Golden Plover
1 Reed Bunting
15 Skylark
1 Grey Partridge
46 Fieldfare
1 Heron
68 Herring gull
2 Moorhen
3 Mallard
4 Meadow Pipits
2 Wrens
+ usual gulls and corvids.
+ a near miss of Jack Snipe
Who says the hill is dead!
