A poor start to the morning with banks of fog moving round then poor visibility with hazy sunshine.
By 0830 hrs skies around Leeshaw were clear but very little signs of movement other than Meadow Pipits >W and Swallows >SW.
31 LBBs were on and around the reservoir with another 12 in the field along with 7 Lapwing whilst the Yellow Legged Herring gull stood alone as usual on the far end on the dam wall.
Plenty Linnet and Goldfinch on the thistle tops and good numbers of Starling moving around the new mown fields.
Good to bump into Steve Parkes and put the birding world to rights.
Fly Flatts just provided me with 7 Wheatear all together down on the east shoreline viewed from the top road. What a shame this venue has had to be knocked off my visits due to mindless scumbags making you afraid of leaving the car unattended.

No sightings of Roe Deer, Fox, Hare or Badger will be mentioned on this blog throughout the year and links will be removed from other blogs giving the whereabouts of these mammals due to the rising influx of poaching, long dogging and lamping by sick individuals.
