Fly Flatts, Mixenden, Ogden.

Large police presence at Fly Flatts
                                  Searching the moor
                                        Bears in the air
                                  Hope they had permits

          Clubhouse entrance cordoned off
                                                  BHGs at Ogden

A late afternoon dash round some of the local waters produced nothing of great interest.
Fly Flatts was cordoned off with police everywhere doing a search around the sw corner and all ending up down by the Twite feeding station although it did,nt look as if any of them had a bag of Nyger seed.
The police helicopter was putting up several grouse and Mipits but only one Curlew seemed to be present.
The water was very rough in the strong WSW>5 but only held the Canada flock whilst Swifts were piling over.

Mixenden reservoir is full to the brim and just held a few Mallard , several BH gulls and 2 Common gulls.

No change at Ogden with around 30 BH gulls, 2 Commons and 5 LBB whilst a noisy Oystercatcher flushed hidden with the trees not to be re located.
