Vis Mig weather morning

Ideal conditions for vis mig, churchyard sunrise
          Black Dyke Mill.

     More Mipits over this morning

Also visible this morning, last quarter moon

Seeing double, nothing special but worth a shot.

A good start to the morning weather wise with mist in the valley and a bright sunrise deteriorating as the morning went on with a few specs of rain lunch time, nothing new there.
Meadow Pipits were coming over >S early doors but only in small numbers whilst DCB called me from Oxenhope with a skein of Pinkies in my direction but despite me running around the car park like a headless chicken, camera in hand, they passed over Clayton to the NE of me. Thanks for the call lads.
A pre work check of the graveyard tit flocks failed to provide me with a Yellow Browed Warbler but I,ll be checking Ogden at the weekend.
Just a note from Shaun that the Keighley reserve Yellow Browed has now moved from the area and was only seen briefly on the day of the report.
The Redwing invasion never happened today although 2 flew from Rowans in the Chapel Lane rugby field this morning.
No contact calls this evening after dark but several Pipistrelle bats around.
