Soil Hill, p.m. visit

Same scraggy Roe Deer, possibly in moult.

                                      1 of several juv Whitethroats

                                         Food on the way

Best I could get of 1 of 3 Sedge Warblers
Least you can see the supercillium.
juv Whitethroat waiting to be fed.

A quick visit to Soil Hill early evening was timed badly as I arrived as the rain came in and left as the sun came out, good job I don,t do the lottery.
Lively with Whitethroats that have bred well with at least 4 ad and 5 juv.
1 Sedge Warbler was singing under cover near the NK pond whilst the other was feeding in a large bush refusing to come out on show despite me waiting 30 mins and getting a doing for being late back.
Otherwise it was several Reed Buntings, Goldfinch and Linnets with LBB gulls overhead moving >W.

Raggalds Flood still held the same 17 Canadas as this morning.
