Soil Hill from Roper
With the day being taken up between work and struggling with the hospital to get Lynda released which we finally achieved along with a wheelbarrow full of feed and medication there was just time for a quick dinner time watch from Roper Lane inspired by reports of Pinkies on the move by firstly DJS and then NK.
The only birds seen were Fieldfares >N in small numbers, 1 m Goosander >N, 1pr Mallard >W and 3 Herring gulls >W.
A few Canadas were down on the Bradshaw pond.
No sign of Grey Partridge from Old Guy Rd.
Apologies to NK for not acknowledging his phone calls due to hospital duties.
