Fieldfare on the move

A better day with a lighter WSW >4 and clear skies with the rain holding off till late afternoon.
Several Fieldfare were moving over Thornton at lunch time all heading >N up the Aire Valley.
Around 200 were seen in the short time that I was up Foxhill park with the dogs but no reports of geese over the area today.
A quick visit to the Tawny Owl site at dinner time again drew a blank with neither of the 2 birds present and no pellets beneath the tree although the garden owner has seen them both since Christmas.
Over half way through the week now and the forecast looks a little better for the weekend which may produce another move of Pinkies.
