Shelf Moor

A dull start but brightening up late morning. A cloudless clear sky this evening with grit wagons out so hopefully the morning will be ok although rain is forecast at some point tomorrow.
Shelf Moor late p.m. produced 28 Lapwing very mobile moving from field to field and each time they landed they put up small parties of Fieldfare and Redwing.
The pond held a single Moorhen and 2 pair of Mallard whilst 8 Linnet were around the gorse bush field.
A Little Owl was in its usual area after a long absence.
I wonder what tomorrow will bring ?
